We report the case of a 28-year-old woman admitted with acute respiratory failure. The patient had no personal or familial medical history involving respiratory disease as asthma, thrombotic events or bleeding. She was a heavy smoker (15 cigarettes per day for the past five years) and “vaped” electronic-cigarettes (e-cigarettes) one month prior to the incident. She consumed 10 mL of e-liquid bottle with nicotine salt (12 mg·mL−1) 在两天。未检测到无大麻(CBD)或四氢甘油醛(THC)。没有添加其他自制组件。患者没有服用任何常规药物或避孕药。没有报道无碱,可卡因或任何其他药物的消费(用阴性尿药物测试证实)。
