The mPAP-CO slope was negatively correlated with the peak oxygen consumption (r=−0.45, p<0.001) and positively correlated with the minute ventilation versus carbon dioxide output slope (r=0.39, p<0.001).Conclusions Impaired exercise capacity and ventilatory efficiency were observed in patients with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension who had normalised pulmonary artery pressure at rest but exercise pulmonary hypertension.FootnotesThis manuscript has recently been accepted for publication in the European Respiratory Journal.
